About Cynthia - Owner of Nana Janes
I have been in the apparel design industry for over 30 years. Most of those 30 years have been making and producing handmade clothing, quilts and more. A few years ago, I began learning the process of using vinyl to create designs. I began creating t-shirts and other products for family and friends.
My husband and I have been married for 27 years, together for 29 and have four wonderful children and 4 granddaughters who are are the light of our lives. I have been a stay at home mom for over 20 years, while my husband served and retired from the U. S. Army. Since our children are now grown and Yet to young to retire, with talents and skills to use, and a desire to begin the next chapter of my life; I started Nana Janes. I currently work from my home in my design studio to help offset the costs of a retail space. My savings allows me to pass those savings onto you.
Working from home has allowed me to care for my parents. My mother was diagnosed in November 1, 2022 with 3 types of cancer. She recently passed in July of 2023 and it was my honor and privilege to be able to be with her during this time.
Since her passing, I have been caring and spending time with my dad. The adjustment has been difficult for all of us, however, my father has had the most difficult time. It has been a long road of healing and mourning with more to come. Please keep us all in your prayers as we move forward. God Bless
